A Yellow warm up light will turn Green after the 3 minute power up cycle. Push the Test switch and a complete diagnostic test is performed in an instant. No gas required. And, they are smart enough not to alarm from a ‘puff’ of hair spray, cleaner, or other aerosol sprays. No nuisance alarms.
